Zone-Batch Picking
Zone-batch picking combines zone-based work assignment with collecting items for multiple orders in a batch. The process then separates or consolidates the picked quantities into the correct orders.

A WORKED EXAMPLE
Five picks in one zone. Three orders.
Zone A needs five eaches of one SKU across three orders: two, two and one. A picker may collect five for the batch, but the process must still allocate the correct quantities to each order and combine any other zone contributions.
