Difference for your entered fee lines

Enter your current fee and monthly billed units on at least one eligible fee line.

This compares your entered fees with separate historical medians. Those medians are not a single supplier quote. The total covers only the completed lines; setup, minimums, taxes, surcharges and unentered charges are outside it. Shipping is shown for context and excluded from this total.

Dataset, sample rules and limitations

The source archive contains 308 RFPs. After the report’s two duplicate-RFP exclusions, it retains 2,100 quote entries across 306 RFPs. Benchmark calculations use 2,095 primary provider/RFP quote records after the report’s suffix-variant de-duplication. Industry and volume use an exact RFP-ID join, not an inferred client-profile match.

Each fee uses positive numeric quoted values in the selected currency, period, order band and industry. Missing, zero/included and text-only fees are excluded. Five cells flagged in the earlier source review are withheld rather than replaced with unverified corrections, so fee sample counts can differ slightly from the report. USD and CAD are never mixed or converted.

The middle 50% runs from the 25th to the 75th percentile. A fee is displayed only when at least 10 eligible quote records from 5 RFPs support it. This is a display rule, not a confidence guarantee. Thin samples stay unavailable; change the filters yourself to broaden the comparison. Repeated providers can appear across RFPs, so record counts are not counts of independent providers.

Shipping depends on parcel weight, dimensions, zones, service and surcharges. This archive does not supply a verified matching shipment profile for every RFP. Shipping medians therefore provide historical context only. No profile-match score, accuracy band, or guaranteed savings is claimed.

Rates are historical quotes, not current offers or a representative survey of every 3PL. B2C first-pick inclusions, packaging and other service definitions must be confirmed against your contract before comparing. Read the full pricing report and methodology.

How to use the comparison

  1. Choose the currency in which the provider quoted. USD and CAD samples are separate.
  2. Choose the quote period, your monthly order volume and the industry. Broaden a filter yourself if a fee has too few observations.
  3. Review each fee’s median, middle-half range and quote/RFP counts.
  4. Optionally enter your current fee and the number of billing units charged each month, using the same unit shown in the table.
  5. Use the modeled difference to frame a contract review or current RFP. Confirm inclusions and service requirements before comparing prices.

A B2C order fee is billed per B2C order; additional picks use additional units, not total units; pallet storage uses billable pallet-months; account management uses monthly charges. Do not mix receiving-carton and receiving-pallet quantities. Shipping is context only and excluded from the modeled difference.

Rate checker questions

What data does this checker use?

The source archive contains 308 RFPs from 2023–2026. The report retains 2,100 quote entries across 306 RFPs after two duplicate-RFP exclusions. This checker uses 2,095 primary provider/RFP quote records for grouped fee benchmarks, with an exact RFP-ID join for industry and order volume. Five previously flagged fee cells are withheld. It does not use the old 98-profile SheetBest feed.

How are comparable rates selected?

Choose USD or CAD, a quote period, monthly order volume and an industry. Each of the 12 fees has its own eligible sample. The checker shows the median and middle 50% only when at least 10 positive numeric quote records from 5 RFPs support that fee. Missing, zero/included and text-only fees are excluded. Thin samples are unavailable unless you explicitly broaden the filters.

Does a difference prove I am overpaying?

No. Entering your own fee and monthly billed units models the difference from historical medians for those completed lines. It is not a complete supplier quote, an accuracy guarantee or guaranteed savings. The medians can come from different providers. Historical shipping estimates are context only because parcel weight, zones, services and surcharges are not matched; shipping is excluded from the modeled total. Obtain current like-for-like quotes before deciding.

Historical rates help frame questions. A full comparison needs the same volumes, service levels, parcel mix, minimums and inclusions in every bid.
