AMAZON SELLER-MANAGED FULFILLMENT
Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM)
Fulfilled by Merchant is Amazon’s fulfillment option in which the seller manages order fulfillment instead of using FBA for those orders. The seller can perform the work or use an appropriate fulfillment partner.

A WORKED EXAMPLE
Seller-managed can still use a 3PL.
A seller routes its FBM orders to a 3PL. The partner picks, packs and hands parcels to carriers, while the seller remains responsible for meeting applicable marketplace requirements. The use of a warehouse partner does not turn those orders into FBA.
