eCommerce Fulfillment
eCommerce fulfillment executes online customer orders through inventory readiness, picking, packing, carrier handoff and related order records. Providers may also offer inbound receiving, storage and returns within the agreed scope.

- Confirm and supportRecord carrier handoff and manage exceptions.
Use the agreed units, actual records and approved procedures for your operation.
A WORKED EXAMPLE
One order. Three eaches. One clear pack rule.
An online order requests three eaches of one SKU. The warehouse picks three approved sellable units, packs them under the channel instructions and records carrier handoff. If the WMS maps the each barcode to a case, a correct order quantity can still produce the wrong physical shipment.
