SYSTEMS & CUSTOMER ACCOUNTABILITY
Customer relationship management (CRM)
Customer relationship management organizes interactions and information about customers and prospects. CRM software can support contacts, opportunities, service cases and account activity.

- Connect the workflowLink relevant service and commercial events.
- Control access and qualityAssign permissions, updates and exception owners.
Use the agreed units, actual records and approved procedures for your operation.
A WORKED EXAMPLE
An account note points to the shipment evidence.
An account manager receives a customer question about a delivery. The CRM holds the service case and references the order, while the team checks the actual carrier event in the operational system. Copying an estimated date into a CRM note does not turn it into confirmed delivery.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOUR QUOTE
Agree the requirement before comparing quotes
Use the actual shipment, stock and service requirements. Record the billing unit, included work and responsibility for exceptions.
