PACKAGING EQUIPMENT & LINE CAPACITY
Case erector
A case erector forms suitable flat corrugated blanks into cases for packing. Depending on the machine and configuration, it can also close or seal the bottom.

A WORKED EXAMPLE
Machine capacity. Downstream bottleneck.
An erector can form cases faster than the packing station can fill them during a trial. Adding more erected cases does not increase the complete line’s finished output. The team measures the whole process, including replenishment and size changes, before deciding whether the equipment resolves the actual constraint.
