A WORKED EXAMPLE
Notice today. Estimated arrival tomorrow.
An importer receives a notice showing a container’s estimated arrival tomorrow. Its broker still needs to confirm customs status, and the transport team must check carrier and terminal release and physical availability. The warehouse can plan provisionally, but booking collection solely because the email title says “arrival” could send a truck before the goods are collectible.
