Proof of Delivery (POD)
Proof of delivery is evidence recording an asserted delivery event for a shipment. Depending on the service it may include a timestamp, recipient information, signature, image or other delivery record.

Use the agreed units, actual records and approved procedures for your operation.
A WORKED EXAMPLE
A delivered scan can still need investigation.
A customer disputes receipt despite a carrier delivery record. The responsible team compares shipment references and available evidence through the agreed process instead of treating one status as the complete investigation.
