Use the agreed units, actual records and approved procedures for your operation.
A WORKED EXAMPLE
Cleared and ready to unload.
A contract specifies DDP to a named warehouse under Incoterms® 2020. The seller arranges the import-cleared movement to that point. The receiving team still needs an unloading plan. Treating DDP as an automatic unloading service can leave a truck waiting despite completed customs clearance.
