A WORKED EXAMPLE
Same material family. Different job.
A brand uses one BOPP grade for a printed label and considers another for a product overwrap. Both belong to the same material family, but their coating, thickness and sealing properties differ. The warehouse or co-packer cannot safely substitute the label film for the overwrap solely because both are called BOPP. A controlled trial and approved specification establish whether the chosen construction works.
