A WORKED EXAMPLE
A served postcode. An unsuitable vehicle.
A carrier covers a customer’s postcode, but the delivery site cannot receive the planned long trailer and has no unloading dock. The brand must arrange an appropriate vehicle and an agreed unloading method before dispatch. A tracking system showing service coverage has not answered those physical questions. Rescheduling after arrival could add a redelivery or equipment cost under the actual agreement.

A LITTLE MORE CONTEXT
Questions about Accessibility in logistics
Does national coverage mean every site is accessible?
No. A carrier’s network coverage and a particular site’s access restrictions are different questions.
Can accessibility change the price?
Yes. Special vehicles, restricted access and additional handling may affect the agreed charge.
Is this the same as website accessibility?
No. This entry uses the transport-network meaning. Digital accessibility concerns access to websites and software.
