Transportation Pricing & Quoting Intake Coordinator – The Americas

Job Description

The Quote Intake Coordinator serves as the initial gatekeeper for all spot quote activity within the Transportation Pricing & Quoting Team for the Americas. This role is responsible for determining the correct team responsible for executing each requested quote and assigning requests accordingly — ensuring every quote is captured accurately, clarified when incomplete, and routed to the right team without delay.

This role sets the pace and quality for the entire spot quote pipeline downstream. Accurate, fast intake and correct routing determinations prevent wasted analyst time on incomplete or misrouted requests, and support timely, accurate routing of quote requests across the Americas geography.

Reports to the Strategic Solutions Manager, Transportation Pricing & Quoting – The Americas

Key Responsibilities

• Receive spot quote requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Review each request for completeness and follow up directly to close information gaps.
• Determine the correct pricing team responsible for executing each request, and route complete, qualified requests to that team without delay.
• Redirect non-pricing requests to the correct team or contact.
• Maintain accurate, current request records in the Pricing Database.
• Flag recurring gaps in request quality to stakeholders and management.

***Position is on site full-time at any Expeditors office in the US*** 

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail; comfortable triaging a high volume of inbound requests.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of Expeditors’ service offerings and team structures, in order to determine and route requests correctly.
• Able to prioritize and process requests quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
• Comfortable working within a Pricing Database or quote intake system.
