Summary

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the of CNSSC OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FIELD.

Duties

  • You will provide management, oversight, and guidance for the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Product and Service across the NAVSUP enterprise.
  • You will serve as the NAVSUP Lead for ILS policy, processes, and tools, and serves as the subject matter expert in integrated logistics for the command.
  • You will be responsible for coordination, planning, budget analysis, performance analysis, and optimization strategies for NAVSUP's ILS product and service.
  • You participate as an expert authority on ashore and afloat supply systems in interagency group efforts to design improvements in ILS at the waterfront.
  • You will exercise oversight and functional expertise for the following functions: Supply Management Inventory Management; Warehousing; Purchase Card Services; Physical Distribution, etc.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Extensive Naval Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) expertise from a combination of military and civilian experience; 2) ILS expertise in support of new construction shipbuilding programs and configuration management; and 3)ILS for the repair and modernization of US Navy ships and submarines undergoing maintenance under the purview of Commander, Naval Regional Maintenance Centers and other Fleet customers.
