About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado in the Directorate of Logistics. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

  • Involved with all technical areas of supply: acquisition of equipment, receipt, cataloging, issue, inventory, storage, and disposal.
  • Direct the receipt and storage of medical supplies as the hand receipt manager.
  • Perform analysis and assist development of logistics procedures to improve property control and support to subordinate units.
  • Monitor inventory control system deficiencies and make policy recommendations to PBO.
  • Use Government purchase cards to procure specialized medical equipment and sensitive items.
  • Ensure proper transportation, receipt, and storage of purchased equipment.
  • Use of General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) to obtain purchase order and a line of funding for all purchases.
  • Provides ongoing formal monthly training using automated computer programs and audiovisual equipment to execute training, all areas of property life-cycle management: procurement, inventory and accountability, FLIPL, and equipment disposal.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which demonstrates applying technical knowledge of medical equipment, automated inventory systems, and supply chain workflows to maintain 100% asset accountability and streamline lifecycle management across healthcare operations. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business, Management, etc. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18). Add the two percentages.
