Summary

You will serve as a FLEET OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the MOTOR TRANSPORTATION SECTION of MARCORPSBARRACKS.

Duties

  • You will review, measure, and recommend improvements in practices and procedures relating to customer service, cost control and utilization of vehicles and other resources.
  • You will determine repair and maintenance needs.
  • You will negotiate and establish cross service agreements for maintenance and fuel with other Government Agencies when cost efficient for the Government.
  • You will be accountable of multi-million-dollar non-tactical equipment inventory consisting of automotive vehicles, material handling equipment, and Electric Vehicle Support Equipment (EVSE).
  • You will perform the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties including work planning, assignments, training, discipline and leave for one civilian.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, directing, and executing complex non-tactical fleet operations, equipment program oversight, and multi-faceted transportation logistics for an organization.
