PRODUCT CARE & FULFILLMENT
Beauty and cosmetics fulfillment
Beauty and cosmetics fulfillment handles storage, order preparation and returns for beauty and personal-care products. Requirements depend on product classification, stability, packaging and channel.
BEAUTY AND COSMETICS FULFILLMENT IN PRACTICE

- Release and reconcileVerify shipments and grade returns.
Use the agreed units, actual records and approved procedures for your operation.
A WORKED EXAMPLE
Two lots. One customer shelf-life rule.
A retailer requires six months of remaining shelf life for a particular product. One lot has four months and another nine. The older lot cannot satisfy the rule simply because it expires first. Allocation needs both rotation logic and the customer requirement. This hypothetical six-month condition is not a universal cosmetics law.
